Anyone in the world
Ahead of the Data Analytics exam coming up on Saturday, the 19th of September 2020, I began reviews this week. Given below is a summary of the reviews so far.
- Probability is the likelihood of the occurrence of an event and lies between 0 and 1. A probability distribution can be Discrete and Continuous. Discrete is split into Binomial and Poisson while Continuous is split into Normal, Exponential and Uniform distributions.
- Correlation shows the relationship between one or more variables and lies between -1 and 1.
- The limitations of correlation include: inability to show causality, dependent and independent variable, cannot be used for forecast and does not have a defined model.
- Regression also shows the relationship between one or more variables but addresses the limitations of correlation.
There is still more ahead. I pray for God's help.
