So yes, the movie 24 hours right?  But no, not the movie at all. That isn't what my blog is about. My LBS 1st-semester final examination lasted 24hrs. Let me borrow the commonly used Nigerian slang these days, 'E shock you?' Well, maybe it sounded convenient at first and did not 'shock me' when at first the timetable was fixed. At least I would have enough time to put together an all-inclusive Background, define the Decision Statement/Problem/Question depending on whichever the case demanded. 

Enough time to 'shine my eyes', dig well into the case, and light up my beacon of guide which is the Objective(s) of that decision, tactically identifying the Decision Alternative(s), itemizing Criteria (Criterion), and cautiously sieving the noise from the actual points while analyzing the Alternative(s) against the Criterion(Criteria). 

The whole essence of this process is to help the protagonist either resolve a business problem and/or make a critical business decision. Therefore, my proffered decision/recommendation has to be one that optimizes the criteria and fulfills the objective. Finally, develop a best-fit action plan. 

So finally the fixed day came and I beheld first the examination guide and then the 'Almighty Examination Case Study'. For the first time I temporarily forgot the full meaning of ABP, 'Another Business Problem?', NO. 'All Believers Program?' NO. 'Abnormal Blood Pressure?' NO, of course not. I gave up and concentrated on the case before me. And back to the stipulated time frame to solve the case, 24hrs, remember? When at 4am the next day, my classmates were all wide awake encouraging one another on the group platform, reality dawned on me that all the other cases we've been solving in the class had been plain sailing.

And so again I ask, 'E shock you?'. So when are they coming up with the slang, 'E electrocute you?' Time to pay up for the accrued sleep. Waking up to engage the second Semester. All glory to God.
