Hello Guys, I trust you all had a great week? 

So, I was having a conversation with one of my friends, and we casually touched on maintaining some level of sanity, amidst all the chaos in every facet of the country right now.

So I have always been a boisterous person, and at the same time a very serious person at work.  Always the first to get to work and last person to leave for the day. Ensuring that every transaction/customer is handled exceptionally well as that is the culture of the financial industry.

Over the years, either as a personal culture, principle or something I have always kept my Mondays through to Thursday very sane, and calm. I rarely indulge in social vices, so I can maintain a great attitude at work. But come friday and its TGIF (Thank God is Friday)with the boys after work to help cool and calm the nerves from the stress of the week. 

Saturday, is usually set aside for the kids, and bonding with them in every way possible, Swimming lessons, Soccer lessons and whilst doing this, getting to rest and rejuvenate for the week. Sometimes, owambe(Local Parlance for elaborate party in celebration of anything, such as; Birthdays, Weddings, Naming Ceremonies e.t.c) fits into the Saturday schedule and we get to do this after time with the kids.

Sunday, We get to do the full family time, Go to church together, after Church lunch or order takeouts for the family and bond at home.

I realised this has become some sort of unregistered routine, that I get to do week in week out and it helps, to keep me focused at work and other areas.

Different people also have different routines formed personally or with friends and family, that really helps directly or indirectly in keeping a sane mind amidst all the pandemonium going on in the country.

From me, it is love and light always, whilst wishing you all a refreshing weekend.
